Rotary Club Sarajevo successfully implemented the project “He Who Sings Thinks No Evil – Music Against Violence in Schools and Society”, with the support of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science. The project aimed to promote tolerance, mutual respect, and a culture of non-violence among children and young people through the power of music and art.

Throughout the project, the club collaborated with prominent musicians, artists, and educators who worked together on its realization. Through new symphonic arrangements of old songs as well as concert performances by the philharmonic, students were given the opportunity to absorb important messages about empathy, understanding, and non-violent behaviour through an artistic experience.

A particular achievement of the project is the creation of high-quality educational material that will serve as a resource for schools across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Based on the recorded content, didactic materials were developed for teachers and students, ensuring that the project’s impact will remain present in the years to come.

By combining culture, education, and social responsibility, the project demonstrated that music can be a powerful tool in building a safer, more tolerant, and more humane society.

Rotary Club Sarajevo thanks all partners, artists, teachers, schools, and institutions, and especially the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, for their contribution to the successful realization of the project. Through joint action, it was confirmed that art and education can be strong allies in creating positive social change and promoting the values that connect people.

All schools wishing to receive the educational material in digital form are welcome to contact Rotary Club Sarajevo.
